What is Environment?

Environmental:
          It is defined as, “the sum of total of all living & non - living things around us influencing one another”

Environmental Science:
          Environmental science is “the study of the environment, its biotic & abiotic components and their interrelationship.”

Scope of Environmental studies:
  • To get an awareness to the total environment and related problems.
  • To motivate the active participation in environmental protection
  • To develop skills for solving environmental problems.
  • To know the necessity of conservation of natural resources.
